Consumer Reviews
Do not waste your money. I got 2 flights on this heli and now it does not charge any longer. Pros: looks excellent on a shelf, especially cool looking heli. When you initial see it, it seems astounding to get such a nice RC heli for beneath $70 Cons: unreadable instruction manual, fragile rotor blades, flimsy remote, almost uncontrollable - don't try it inside unless you are in a particularly massive space, charger died soon after 2 charge cycles.
This is my 5th Rc helicopter in the final couple of years so I do have some flight expertise. Possibly I just got a lemon but just after reading some other critiques and forums, it sounds like most men and women do not have much achievement with this model.
I ordered two of these r/c helo's and each had been delivered broken. The piece that the tail stabilizer is mounted to was broken and anytime you attempted to go forward or backward the rear rotor would smack aginst the housing and then the helo would drop to the ground. I could not get either helo to truly fly forward, they each would either fly backwards or orbit left or correct, no matter how significantly I adjusted the trim. The LED light pods on either side of both helos broke off inside minutes of their very first flights. The principal rotors can take a beating so long as they are not hitting something tougher than a pillow or carpet. Both helos principal rotors broke off at the mast. I have been flying r/c helos for a extended time and know how to manage them (not overcorrecting), but this was a incredibly complicated helo to manage. I figured that with the to begin with a single that possibly I just got a bad one particular, but then the other a single was just as much a piece of junk as the initially.
