Okay, I purchased this helicopter on a whim. I'm presently serving in Iraq with the US Army and just about every once and a even though (hardly ever), we get some down time. My battle buddy has a few smaller sized RC helicopters which she flies every once and while. I had 1 of those before but they just go up and down, possibly a handful of circles but that is it. I wanted a RC helicopter due to the fact I appreciate flying, and I have about an hour down time prior to I go to bed. So I got the Chinook considering it is a Chinook. 2 blades are far better than 1, proper? It came in and I was shocked by how massive it was due to the fact I believed it was going to be little. I was also concerned with the reality that the rotors are loose (no worries, this is suppose to be like that, it flies fine with the rotors like that.) The instruction booklet is poorly translated but its not that difficult. I finally took out for the initially time and it was Impressive! I did not have to set the trim or something! It flew like a dream and everyone was impressed with it! Even my battle buddy who says its ten occasions improved than hers! It only takes a minute to get use to. I was even able to get it to land and fly to my hand. It has awesome control and it last longer than those smaller helos (we tested that out...). I Extremely Recommend THIS. This would not be so superb for an individual younger but it is definately a amazing get. I'm extremely impressed! Once I get home from my deployment I program to obtain a handful of alot more just in case they stop making these items. Hands down coolest rc helo for the price tag. Actually wonderful toy for the price. I have had some of those mini RC helicopters before, and honestly for twice the price of one of those this heli is nicely worth the price. The steering takes a small acquiring applied to, think of it as a hover craft rather than a auto on wheels. You get the hang of it in no time, and a charge seems to last a decent ten-15 minutes. Plus, and this is a substantial plus, there are no batteries to replace accept in the controller. he helicopter itself charges from a wall outlet. The craft is a fairly fantastic size, around 16" lengthy I would guess. The lights on the craft are great, it has two on either engine in the back, and a red and green one particular underneath it. I have been buzzing this point around my house ever due to the fact Christmas, it is to substantially enjoyable. The only factor I would say to perspective buyers is the steering is not dead on precise but it is tons much better than the cost-effective RC copters out there, and is especially easy to use.
