Buyer Critiques
This is my initially RC helicopter. I did not want to invest a lot of income on it. I saw this helicopter demoed and it flew certainly effectively. I really like the size of the helicopter given that it is relatively long. I am carrying out short hovers inside my residence. It is really enjoyable as soon as you can hover and do some basic maneuvers. I have to try it outside where I have much more space to fly. Charge time is 100 minutes. Fly time is 5 to 8 minutes. If fly time could raise, that would be great. None the less, this is addicting and difficult. Overall, the helicopter is nicely built.
Most persons searching at the this RC helicopter are new to the hobby, possibly seeing this as a step up from the entertaining air hogs. This can be a mistake. The Alloy Shark can't hold it's course against even a mild breeze outdoors. Indoors, the spinning blades, much larger and heavier than these of the smaller micros, can damage and injure.
The Shark adjusts the torque from the two counter rotating blades to control direction. This is not precise, and so control is can be haphazard.
If you want to move up, it's a superior idea to get a inexpensive 3 or 4 channel helicopter. There are plenty of reviews and lots of fine advice on the hobby web pages.
