Lastly got about to trying this baby out, been playing with the three indoor 'copters I got at the same time.
Took this one out of the box, set the trims to mid-point and got it up into a low hover in the driveway close to the garage. Stayed steady, no tail wag left or proper at all.
Next, got it up about roof level and flew it about the yard. Slight breeze, but it handled it nicely, even improved in "Quick" mode.
Really satisfied!
Immediately after running the battery down, took 2hrs 50min to totally recharge.
Tip:
Be certain to remove the xmitters BATTERY "brick" and place batteries in the bottom side too,(cures most "dead xmitter" complaints). Takes four on top, 4 on bottom. Reinstall battery pack more than ribbon so that you can pull up on the ribbon to loosen the "brick" later to change batteries.

I puchased this 9118 mainly because of the two.4Ghz radio. It flies fine indoors but terrible outside. I attempted to fly it outside and there was hardly a breeze. The heli would not go forward just drift backwards. I took it to a warehouse and with just the air movement in there, it would barely go forward. This model really should not be marketed as a outdoor toy. Oh also the landing skid and tail prop mount break easilly. I broke each parts attempting to fly outdoors.
