So..... Myself and numerous co-workers decided to make these helicopters element of our down time though over here in the middle of nowhere... We have a number of around the shop proper now, and I bought this a single...... the other guys all spent about $20 on theirs.... the Syma 107, 108 and 109... that is the Sport, Cobra, and Apache... and I spent $40 on this one particular when it was on sale (now it really is $50). This ones handling doesn't even come close to comparing to theirs... I read up a lot more on the evaluations, and for some purpose everyone says it is good, but I'm thinking they've just in no way tried the Symas. I even ordered a different knuckle that holds the stabilizer bar to the top rotor, (only came with 1), in hopes that it may perhaps make it more stable and manageable.. it did not... Also, following crashing about 15 occasions, the tail rotor snapped off at the bottom of the curve... I superglued it back on about four occasions, and then drilled holes on either side of the crack and safety wired it back on, and superglued once more :) gotta say, it has held up properly immediately after all the crashes, and it is manageable to fly, and IT SHOOTS MISSLES which is the major benefit over the Symas........... but overall.... the Symas are absolutely a lot more agile, and very easily controlled (3 I named anyways), and the batteries final a small longer, and they are WAY quieter, and for much less than half the price, I feel I would have just gone with one particular of those.
I upped it to a four star, only mainly because it has withstood a important beating, and it shoots missles. It did call for the repair of the tail rotor tho, and it doesn't manage as beneficial as it should for the cost. and it is loud.

I owned the Syma 108 just before I purchased this one particular. My assessment will compare in between the two.
Cons:
1)Compared to Syma this a single flies like a fat cow. Rotating left and right is particularly responsive but forward and reverse takes like five seconds to kick in right after you move the control which is certainly annoying and prone to crashes. The altitude adjustment response is also poor.
two)This 1 is substantially noisier. Sounds like a flying lawnmower.
three)Also the left throttle utilized to manage altitude is not spring loaded to throttle down when released like Syma which tends to make it harder to control the altitude. (A small workaround of tying a rubber band to the throttle stick and anchoring the other end on the bottom of the controller helped. This keeps the tension on the throttle in the downward path, which automatically pulls the throttle down when you release. This helps manage the altitude substantially superior.)
four)Pretty much double the cost of Syma.
Pros:
1)Fires Missiles!
Not so enjoyable for my cat but super entertaining for me. I'm planing to modify the mechanism to hopefully squirt water rather.
I wish the Syma had this choice.
two)Well constructed. The supplies used to make this one particular feel more solid then the Syma.
