Getting quite considerably mastered the co-axial,S107 I decided to attempt out the Air Max 9103 fixed pitch Heli. This copter is a full diverse animal. It is pretty aggresive compared to the S107 but not almost as stable and percise. I don't know if I got a undesirable heli, but to start out out the LED light was not working. My initial flight, it took off and hit the leading of the garage door and slammed to the floor. The plastic Head cover broke as nicely as the cabin lock which holds the head cover in location. The heli took off so rapid that it did not even give me a opportunity to trim it out. Glued the head cover as properly as the cabin lock and tried again. The heli is particularly unstable as it tends to drift to the side. I have the rudder stick all the way forward and it does not go anywhere. When i hit the left or perfect rudder, it wants to orbit pretty speedy. If you don't have adequate space in your home, you will be crashing it regularly. I'm a little disappointed in this heli as i believed that it would be as stable and faster than the S107 but it really is just more rapidly, no exactly where close to as stable. I would save my cash.
I bought this as step up from Syma 111g, 102G 107g. I was thinking that it be way more of a challenge and much more enjoyable than the other Symas I have. It was challenge alright! Wild correct from start. Could not do something indoors so I went outside. I could get it the air but other than throttle I had no control. So I attempted it outside and it crashed on the pavement smashing the canopy and 1 of the anchor pins for the canopy. Soon after that I decided to move back indoors and attempt in the garage. Right after studying what persons did on the DH 9103's the significant brother the DH 9100 I adjusted the swash-plate to give it greater forward motion and began to make some progress. I discovered that you have to pre-adjust the trim settings to compensate for the 9103's tendency to spin counter clockwise all the time and trim the speed down as well becasue the main motor and tail motors are 2X as potent than your 107G's. After doing pre-trimming (the remote does not bear in mind your settings btw). Following that I finally got it to hover! It flew pretty beneficial right after that. I was beginning to get fine at it but it just had also many really hard crashes and the prop blade pivot pins broke inside the hub so then I was performed. This is a single challenging heli even though. Considering the fact that my heli came it the reddish copper color I ordered new blade set from some location in China. No one had that color in USA. Yellow ones are well known but not my color! So I am waiting for my blades, 2 canopies, canopy anchors, prop hub and additional swashplate. I guess i will begin more than once more. The true trick with this issue is adjust swashplate so it flies forward much better and not backwardsish and pre-trim controls. Seems folks who have purchased the bigger DH9100 flew right out the box superior than this one particular.The DH9103 is virtually the similar only smaller.
