And beware that the instructions have lost some of their context in the translation from Chinese to English so there is a bit of a learning curve. For the short amount of time I had this unit, I loved it. Other than needing six AA batteries, this comes ready to go out of the box. Just put the batteries in the remote, charge the 'copter and you're set. I will freely admit I am a newbie in the realm of remote control toys so I am still studying the controls. That is why I have to have to make it clear that what occurred was not the fault of the toy, but mine. I flew the 'copter a handful of times. The controls are nicely laid out and quick to use. There is also a button on the remote to operate the video camera situated in the bottom of the 'copter. It even comes with a mini-SD card and adapter. On my third flight there was a tiny wind so the 'copter was beginning to drift over to the neighbor's yard. When I tried to get it back I accidentally lowered the 'lift' lever rather than the 'reverse' lever. The rotor immediately stopped and the 'copter dropped like a stone into my neighbor's pool. With that, it was dead. Is this a surprise? Nope. Drop most any electronic device into water and it's toast. So what did I do? I ordered another one. It was that significantly enjoyable and I genuinely want to get much more use out of it.
