Costumer Evaluations
I ordered this helicopter along with three other helicopters. 3 from Syma and one particular off brand helicopter. I ordered numerous helicopters considering the only ones I have flown have been two channel and if 1 broke I would have backup. I ordered the Syma S107 and S105 at the similar time, and the S107 arrived very first and the S105 arrived the next day. On my frist flight of the S107 I was suprised how stable and smooth the flight was. The box says 14 and up but I think any individual could control this helicopter. It goes up, down, left, ideal, forward, and backwards, all at a balanced speed thats beneficial for indoor flight. It is not too slow to be boring or too quick that you cannot controll it. The trim button on the controller is pretty significantly not required for the reason that it does not spin out of manage. I nevertheless havnt adjusted the trim soon after about 20 flights. Also, each Syma helicopters are Particularly durable considering that they are produced of metal and difficult plastic. The blades are also durable. There are some differences in the S107 and S105. The S105 is slightly wider and slightly longer. It also has two LED lights on every single side and a single in the front, a total of 6, which can be cool or annoying, it just depends on preference. The s107 has a single light on the front. The S105 appears to spin out a great deal more than the S107 and is much more complicated to trim. This is an apparent flaw that was addressed with the newer S107, mainly because it does not spin out at all. They both can be charged with the controller or via a USB port on your personal computer which is fine if you don't want to waste your batteries on your controller. They both use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Both helicopters are quite durable and have been crashed various occasions. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only around 5 minutes, despite the fact that I do not have something to compare it to given that the other 2 helicopters I ordered are still not here yet just after about a week and a half. Also, the only choice for shipping is standard shipping. Overall I would advise the S107 more than the S105 given that of the trim problem with the S105, but both are terrific helicopters and they are a very good price.
The Syma S107 is so hassle-free to control that on my 1st flight I had it tour my whole apartment, zooming in and out of closets and in no way touching an obstacle until I deliberately landed it. If you've in no way flown a fine RC heli prior to, you may well will need to practice a bit. It may be your second or third flight just before you get that great.
The S107 is really that easy to manage.
I am positive that a lot of of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you lengthy for a little heli that just plain flies where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I'm here to tell you that such perfection is inside your grasp.
Just before I got my S107, I currently owned two Syma S105s and I in no way get tired of flying them. They appear virtually identical to the S107 and the remote is identical, but they take a little bit of skill to fly with precision and I've created small tweaks here and there to get greater control.
The S107 takes just about no skill to fly. They gyro tends to make it laughably simple to control. Just use it indoors, get it about four feet off the ground so that ground-effects don't mess with it, fly it a decent distance from air conditioning vents and the thing moves like it really is hanging from a string on a stick.
That perfection is, maybe, its 1 huge flaw.
The thing is, I think the S105 is a bit additional enjoyable to play with. The S105 requirements careful trimming at the beginning of every single flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected adjustments in path and the occasional crash. It is extremely effortless to fly the S105, but even so each time that I fly a single I develop significantly more skillful with it.
The S107 just plain functions. It goes where I point it.
I produced 1 little transform to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to aid it move forward even more very easily. That is the sum of all modifications that I produced to mine. I cannot obtain something else to tweak. That's great. It's fantastic. It's a enjoyable factor to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even immediately after quite a few flights.
I heartily suggest this heli.
...But if you want a comparable heli that is similarly remarkable but introduces a smidgen of challenge to each and every flight, think of the S105 as nicely.
