Ok, for starters, this is an INSIDE ONLY helicopter. Which is fine, because the price of an outside copter is [...]-.

This helicopter has excellent features as the lights flicker, and the spotlight on the bottom adds a fun effect and is also quite helpful when flying with the lights off. The stability, turns, and movement is very precise and works like a charm.

However, I will have to say that when you first take off it is hard to get it right. It is almost impossible to take off from the carpet and / or floor. You need to take off from something elevated like a stool, step-stool, table, chair etc. This is mainly because when you put the throttle to go up, ( if you push it all the way to the top ) the helicopter flies up way to quick and becomes unstable and unmanageable. If you go to slow, it tends to tip to one side or the order and with essentially fail to launch due to the carpet.

You may test what you like, but this toy is worth the buy.

As far as durability goes, my 4 year old and 7 year crash it more times than I can count and it runs great.

It does come with 1 set of extra rotor blades!
