Customer Critiques

this is just about an exact dupe of the Syma S032, parts will interchange, but did uncover a USA parts distributor, now onto the beneficial stuff, hovers excellent has a slight drift to the correct I countered that by super gluing a little washer on the left side now will hover devoid of nearly no vertual movement, flight time is about 6-7 min. on par with helos in this class, charge time 45min., video particularly good outside inside has a orange tinge to it, its mjpeg avi, get about 30min with the installed SD card, cant wait to try outside, will edit when alot more flight time in.

Got the LT-712 in about a week from date of order. Enjoyable to fly. It is about 14.1" extended, 2.three"wide, five.9"tall, light metal construction and plastic canopy blades. It takes about 90 minutes of charge time for about ten minutes of fly time. It has a 640x480 video camera mounted underneath with an insert for a 1gb micro SD card included. The SD card fits into a USB adapter (included) that plugs into a computer to view the video which records in AVI format. No additional primary rotor blades but does have an additional tail rotor blade. Crashed it a lot of occasions but on carpet so no harm. Have nicked the primary rotor blades on furniture legs, so finest to fly in an open area. When mastering to fly, I advocate education gear to maintain the blades from hitting the ground when it recommendations over. The training gear are 4 sticks in the form of an X, with ping pong balls on the ends and attached to the skids with wire ties, extending past the length of the blades. I got my training gear at a nearby hobby shop. The heli is not potent enough to fly too high with the instruction gear on, so I'd only use it for the initial few flights though learning to fly. It takes time practice but hovers fairly nicely indoors. The heli likes to pull the left or the perfect even even though hovering, so you will consistently be adjusting the trim on the transmitter or employing modest counter-weights. It can be flown outdoors but has a difficult time if there is even a slight breeze. The telescopic antenna on the transmitter breaks without difficulty, so will need to be gentle when extending it. Transmitter has fundamental controls, left/appropriate/fwd/back/fast/slow but has no output for simulators as on more pricey transmitters. The heli has a fixed pitch primary rotor blade that uses the rear horizontal tail rotor to tip the nose up or down, making it go forward or backward. Other extra costly heli's use a collective pitch blade making use of the key blade itself to make it go fwd or back. Some collective pitch helis have even more fly time as they use the pitch of the main blade to go up down rather than the speed of the rotor which makes use of extra of the battery. Overall I am happy with this heli. Take pleasure in!
