(I put to use my wife's account to order this helo - hence I am NOT Delailah). I have flown R/C aircraft in the past. I build them as well. Prior to this, I built dozens of scale plastic helicopters, ships, and submarines. For me, if the R/C helicopter/aircraft does not appear actual, then I do not even bother with it. I am a physician now with 3 modest children so I have very limited time. I can not invest five hours a night making an R/C airplane. I purchased the helicopter for a science museum I am going to make in the Philippines to show youngsters engineering principles. I am Particularly Happy with this helicopter. It looks scale with its flat olive drab finish, it has panelling and rivet facts, and honestly good looking lights that give it a scale appearance when flying in a semi-dark space. It has a tiny more inertia than the tiny helicopters (the ones that fit in your hand), but is just as stable - if not a great deal more stable. In general, the bigger a scale model aircraft is, the more stable its flight characteristics. I have purchased quite a few R/C kits from the department retailers simply because I wanted to show my kids how to fly airplanes with no spending hundreds of dollars. Sadly, they all had been underpowered and crashed. This helicopter has a lot of energy, is stable, and Enjoyable to fly even for R/C pilots who have flown piston-sort two stroke/4 stroke engine aircraft. I enjoy it, and I cannot wait to display it in flight in my Philippine science museum!

ok this is a fantastic toy that my brother got about a week ago... the initial day he droped it from a power cord 15 feet high! and if that is not sufficient it landed with a thud on the road and a toyota drove more than it and it nonetheless functions superb i consider sometime i will get it too
